This is a Nigerian romance/financial scammer gang one of whose leaders is a man calling himself James McDonald (real name Yusuf Mudh Musa Karanka), who has at least 28 nearly-identical Facebook profiles and another man, calling himself Mark Donald (real name unknown), who has at least 100 nearly-identical Facebook profiles. It is one of the most sophisticated gangs we have ever encountered. They have created an entire community of fraudulent personalities, all of them members of the gang, presenting themselves to be friends, lovers, two judges, a lawyer (using a stolen ID), an FBI agent, and others, as well as a fraudulent Interpol site. In just one case, the gang induced (and in this case, ordered) a lonely woman to send them her entire $600,000 retirement, all based on lies and intimidation. The image included is just one of hundreds of small payments over a period of years.
